Southern Bourbon & BBQ Road Trip

The southern states are known for their distinct hospitality, cuisine, music and spirits. In 2018, Eric led guests on a four-city adventure through the southern states, experiencing the tastes, sights and sounds that make southern culture truly one of a kind. Edible Canada’s Southern Road Trip was a luxury coach tour through Louisville, KY; Nashville, TN; Birmingham, AL and New Orleans, LA, and featured stays at 4- and 5-star hotels, with stops for exclusive tours and tastings along the way. Nightly dinners featured unparalleled opportunities to dine with some of the most celebrated chefs in the south.

Guests had the opportunity to explore the very best of the south, from bourbon and BBQ to blues and country, from pasture to the bayou.

Yukon Culinary Festival

Yukon is quietly becoming one of the biggest culinary hotspots in Canada, and Eric is bringing it to the forefront with the Yukon Culinary Festival. Since 2013, he has partnered with the Tourism Industry Association of the Yukon to put on the festival, which showcases Yukon’s culture, local food and culinary experts: the talented chefs, local producers, farmers and more that are helping shape the region’s burgeoning food scene.

Ranked by Forbes as one of Canada’s best summer food and drink festivals. Featured in BC Business, Yukon News, the Globe and Mail, the Vancouver Sun and more.

Gourmet Kayaking

Paddling through the serene, sunny waters of British Columbia’s Gulf Islands, guests of the annual Gourmet Kayaking getaways enjoy a weekend of locally-sourced gourmet meals and fine wines — and encounters with the local wildlife!

Bald eagles, seals, sea lions and river otters are all common sights in the area. And the food . . . is not your run-of-the-mill camping fare. Think Bacon Cinnamon Bun French Toast, Albacore Tuna Nicoise and Gourmet S’mores with Bourbon Marshmallows. Past tours have consistently sold out.

“Incredibly popular . . . little luxuries on a truly memorable adventure.” — Scout Magazine

Yukon Whisky and Wine Weekend

There is a quiet explosion of culinary talent happening in the upper half of Canada. Up-and-coming chefs are drawing inspiration from the fruits of the tundra and the unique flavours the climate provides. In a land where the sun never sets for many months, extraordinary flavour traditions are coming to light.

In 2018, Eric collaborated with Chef Carson Schiffkorn of Inn on the Lake, and many others, to celebrate the bounty of the great white north. Guests at the Yukon Whisky and Wine Weekend had the chance to sip and savour some of Canada’s best whiskies and wines. Food and drink was front and centre, but there was plenty more to experience — the packed weekend included a house party, dog sledding, dining on frozen lakes and simply lying outside watching the sky dance with the colours of the aurora borealis.
