With Eric’s global travel schedule and international influence, it has been advantageous for him to help share the Canadian story abroad, not only through food, but also by working with other iconic Canadian companies.
Canada Goose partnered with Eric as a brand ambassador, supporting everything from his epic “Flight Across the Top of Canada” tour, where all of the crew were outfitted with Canada Goose gear, to his adventures in the Arctic, Antarctic and other locales around the globe.
Eric has always been known as a bit of a clotheshorse, with more shoes and jeans than probably dozens of men combined. His favourite place to shop is Open Country, a boutique in Whistler, BC, that represents top Canadian and international brands such as Mavi, 34 Heritage, Bugatti and Canada Goose.
During his work in New Zealand filming — a new TV documentary in pre-production with Wild Media Entertainment — Eric formed a partnership with Blundstone. It is rare to see Eric not sporting a pair of Blundstone boots. Outside of business meetings, he tends to spend most of his time in the woods, cooking or foraging.
Eric’s new love of hoodies and caps is due in no short part to some of his favourite Yukon people who started Yukon Built. Their hats and hoodies can be found on all members of Eric’s family almost daily — anticipating their hopeful return to this magical location where Eric spends many weeks a year!
Eric would like to thank all of these key partners for their support over the years. It is great to be able to share their stories alongside his own, and to ensure that he dresses as well as he eats!
